Autumn Art Journal Pages
Over on the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog they had a challenge to use on of Tammy Tutterow’s tutorials or projects for inspiration. After browsing through her tutorial archives (You should check them out here, So many ideas!) I decided to try this tutorial for Stencil Transfers.
I used 2 stencils with Tammy’s technique on this page, this Camera stencil and a triangle stencil by Frog Dog Studio I used the technique on both the background and the tag.
My second Autumn-y journal page is all about how much I love pumpkin flavored goodies. It was inspired by the Get Transparent challenge on Document Life Workshop for the “Use a Past Challenge” Challenge.
I layered a couple pieces of vellum over my patterned paper for a transparent look, then I played with some alcohol inks. I just did little drops of color and than I also painted on a little girl using purple ink. Her mouth ended up sort of blob-y but otherwise I like her. 🙂
