30 Days of Lists

I decided to join in on Kam, Justine and Amy’s 30 days of lists challenge! Here’s a little about it (taken from the 30lists blog)

Not everyone can make a mini scrapbook every week or an art journal page every night.
30 Days of Lists is our encouragement and challenge to you that you CAN journal just something every day – even something as small as a list.
Every day through the month of March we will be posting a list prompt – anything from weekend goals to celebrity crushes. At the end of the 30 days you’ll have a collection of entries creating a small snapshot of your life right now.
Here’s mine so far–
Cute, right? Are you doing 30 lists?

This is Me scrapbook page

I made this layout for Creating Keepsakes 1 hour challenge, You had to use a self portrait and use a ‘quiz’ as journaling. I decided to use one of those quizzes that float around Facebook, you know the ones I mean?
Here’s a close up of the journaling…
Like it? I really love scrapbooking, one of my layouts is going to be published in Creating Keepsakes magazine this summer, so I’m super excited! πŸ™‚

Coloring Book Pages to awesome paintings

This is what I’ve been doing all afternoon! Painting coloring book pages- Here’s you a tutorial!
Supplies: Coloring book Page (I found the awesome star trek pages on google images) paint
1. paint in all the colored spots, leave the black. Try to color in the lines! (this was hard for me, haha j/k)
2. Using a small brush, paint over the black lines.
Now frame your cool paintings! These are really great  if you dont think you can paint, because the coloring book lines make it easy to paint!
Now I have James T. Kirk and Uhura to hang on our art wall! yay! πŸ™‚

The Spotted Fox Guest Blog

(image via weheartit)
Welcome to the blog party! I’m having a blog party because of 2 reasons, I started my blog last January, so it’s a 1 year anniversary. And, I have over 200 followers! Thanks you so much for following me, you guys!  it means alot!
Onto our first guest blog of the day- The Spotted Fox!

Hi and Hello! Kelly and Sara here from http://www.thespottedfox.com/. We are so honored to be doing a guest post on PunkProjects!
We have cooked up a super simple DIY project for crafters, seamsters, and teacup enthusiasts.. a 5-minute, no-sew, teacup pincushion!!
Here’s what you’ll need:
-12″ x 12″ scrap piece of fabric
-teacup
-handful of fiberfill/stuffing
-elastic hair band
:: Place your fiberfill in the center of your fabric scrap. Gather each corner of the fabric and bring together.. pushing the stuffing into the center of the square.
:: Using your elastic hair band, wrap around tightly forming a stuffing ball. Trim the excess fabric off the tail of your ball.
:: Push your stuffing ball into the teacup with the hair band inside (unseen). You can add a line of glue to the inside of the teacup for an extra sturdy hold if you’d like.
And that’s it!! Super quick, super simple, super cheap, and super AWESOME!
Enjoy!.. and be sure to check out The Spotted Fox for more DIY projects and other goodies.
Xoxo,
Kelly and Sara

*Fall mini album*

I made this cute little album today, Because I Love Fall, and it is only supposed to be 88 degrees here (texas) today! πŸ™‚

The design was inspired by the little booklets the American crafts stickers come in:

I think I am just going to use it to doodle in this autumn. πŸ™‚
