For the Love of Mixed Media Blog Hop
Today I am joining some of my crafty friends for a mixed media blog hop- Valentine’s themed!
The challenge was just to create a mixed media piece, it could be any type of project so long as it was inspired by Valentines. I love joining in on collaborations like this.
As you can see, mine is a mixed media journal! I cut all of my papers and chipboard covers into heart shapes using my Brother Scan N Cut, and bound it using my bind it all.
I layered strips of gelli prints onto my chipboard covers, stitched them down and then added a couple of light swipes of paints on top.
I used some of Imagine Crafts “Amplify” ink to draw the white puffy circles, and adhered on a couple of resin embellishments.
