My Details Blog Hop
I’m really quiet around people other than my family. Quiet on the outside anyhow, inside my brain however my mind goes wild.
I started by sketching out the girl, then coloring her in with gelatos. I added in color around her as a background to all my thoughts.
I’m giving away a place in the My Details workshop and you have until this Thursday to enter! If you purchase the workshop and then win a spot, You will be reimbursed!

I love your illustration– and I totally get what you mean about over thinking. It's hard to "rein" my brain in sometimes!
Thank you! Listening to music helps. 😉
Everything is so gorgeous about this: I especially love the colors you used.
In the flesh, quiet people make me nervous. Because I talk SO MUCH when I get excited, I always have a moment later when it dawns on me that I kind of overtook things and worry that the quiet person might think I was annoying or didn't like me. I know that it's rarely the case, but I still have a complex about it 🙂
So if we ever hang out, you'd just have to feel free to tell me to shut up or tell me you're cool with the overtalking 🙂
Oh, I like listening to people, just not actually talking myself, haha. So if we do ever hang out- feel free to chat away! 😉
This is so beautiful!
Thanks!
I love this! I want to learn how to do more projects like this…and more altered art. And my brain is always on fire…it doesn't shut down much. Love how you documented it all!
I used to do mostly scrapbooking, but I've gotten more & more into artsy things like this! My best suggestion is to start an art journal and just play!
Love this! So much awesome color, and I love all the thoughts bubbling around what seems to be a quiet peaceful girl. Great work!
Wow, you really got what I was going for! I wanted her to look quiet on the outside. I guess I did! Thank you!
This is so beautiful and so vivid and so very poignant.
Thanks! You know I love color. 😉
A very creative take on the prompt! I like your use of colour 🙂
Thanks! I love bright colorful projects. 😉
WOW this is amazing, I am just blown away by your creativity!
Thank you, Kellie!
This is BEAUTIFUL! This is my first time visiting your blog and I love your art style. Gorgeous! My favorite way of documenting things right now is Project Life but you might have just inspired me to break out the art supplies soon!
Thanks for visiting! I hope you get messy with your art supplies, it's so fun!
I like your take on the prompt! I like to document through scrapbooking and Project Life
Thanks!
This is just gorgeous ! I love the flip over tags, the colors and… well pretty much everything 🙂
Oh wow this is so lovely! I often feel like I have thoughts floating around my head like in your drawing. Love the interactivity of the tags too.
