Design Your Own Fabric Using Crayons

I used the fabric I designed to create the zippered pouch above. For the zippered pouch, I used this tutorial which is a super easy way to make little bags like this. 🙂

Guest Blogging on the Design Memory Craft Blog Today!

This is my first project as part of the Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft guest design team, and I really like how it turned out. I use their Gelatos and Aquarelles Water Color Pencils to create the big sunburst on the background.

A Peek into My Process: Fabric Covered Journal

I just thought I’d share you a few pictures of the my new journal while I was in the process of decorating the cover. This isn’t a tutorial, but if you’d like to learn how to make your own coptic bound journal I recommend this tutorial.

For the cover I used Faber-Castell Design Memory Craft Paper Crafter Crayons, and then used my iron to heat set them into the fabric.

I’m on the Faber-Castell Guest Design Team!

A couple of weeks ago I saw that Faber-Castell had a call open for their next guest design team, so I applied and I got chosen to be on the team along with nine other talented artists. I’m super excited!
