Tea Art Printable + Plum Deluxe Tea Review

(This post is sponsored by Plum Deluxe. I received product in exchange for a review however all opinions and artwork are my own.)
Hey everyone! I think I’ve mentioned here on the blog a few times (or maybe a lot?) how much I love tea. It’s my beverage of choice and you can almost always find a cup in my hand.
Last week I created this mini tea themed painting and today I wanted to share it as a free printable for y’all! All I ask is that you don’t resell or alter my art print.
I used DecoArt’s Media Fluid Acrylics for this painting. I really love how vibrant they are. Even my palette makes me happy!

ADVENTURE OR TEA ART PRINT

I did a tea review here earlier in the year, and have since been wanting to do another! So when Plum Deluxe contacted me about a possible review, I said yes and I knew it would be perfect to work into this post.

First, a little bit about Plum Deluxe:

Hand-blended in small batches at our studio in Portland, Oregon, Plum Deluxe’s line of signature loose leaf teas will help you to slow down for a mindful moment and enjoy the luxurious feeling of a cup of tea, perfect for a warm exchange with friends and family or a few quiet minutes of reflection in solitude. All of our tea blends are organic, non-gmo, and free of chemicals and sulfites – we support local and USA farmers wherever possible and run an active philanthropy program.  Our company was founded by entrepreneur Andy Hayes as a tribute to his mother, who lost a brave 6-year battle with breast cancer but never forgot to enjoy “the little things” in life.

Plum Deluxe sent me 2 different teas to try, and I have to say I have mixed feelings about them. First, let me just say that while I love tea, I don’t love all teas. I can’t stand rooibos, and I don’t really like chai, so I’m slightly picky.

I loved their Gratitude Blend. At first strawberry + earl grey seemed like a slightly different/weird combination, but I loved the taste of it! I really liked the fruity taste of the strawberries mixed with this rich earl grey.

Plum Deluxe also sent me some of their Reading Nook blend. This one smells fantastic, but just I didn’t love the flavor of it. I think possibly it was the lavender, even though I imagine that’s what makes it smell so good.  It’s simply not my preference.

What Plum Deluxe is known best for is their Tea of the Month club. Who wouldn’t want to have a box of tea arrive in their mailbox every month?? That sounds perfect. You can subscribe to the box for $10/month and receive 1 oz of a custom seasonally-perfect artisan loose leaf tea made just for the club. Subscribers also enjoy access to a robust and supportive private tea lover’s community, tea-inspired recipes, discounts/free shipping on extra teas and supplies, and other surprises.

So there you have it- I’m about to go make another cup of the Gratitude blend right now, and while I didn’t love the Reading Nook blend, it’s just a matter of preference, it could be your favorite!

Learn more about Plum Deluxe on their website here, and be sure to stop by their blog!

It’s time for another printable, these are so fun to make, not to mention they’re so quick and easy!! So, right now I am obsessed with sloths, they’re become pretty trendy lately, like foxes and hedgehogs.
I designed these little love sloths for Valentine’s day!
Supplies:
  • Printer
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Black Felt (optional)

Download my free printables here:
Pink Sloth
Purple Sloth

1. Print out the design.
2. Cut out the design.
3. Wrap around the tin and use tape to secure the ends on the back.

I designed two options: The pink sloth has the arms already drawn on, and the purple sloth allows you to adhere on felt arms for a 3d element.

Wedding Coloring Pages

Hey guys, I have a super fun free download for y’all today! As you know, Taylor’s wedding is only a month away so like the good sister that I am I have been working hard to design lots of projects and decor for her big day.

One of those projects was to design some wedding inspired color pages for the kids at the wedding to color in! That’s what these are! And I’m sharing them with you as well!

Download them here:

  • Cactus Love Coloring Page
  • Wedding Cake Coloring Page
  • Flower Bouquet Coloring Page
Feel free to print them out for your own wedding/kids/occasion. All I ask is that you don’t try to sell them as your own!

Taylor’s wedding is in Arizona, so while I did a couple of easier pages (flowers and cake) for the younger kids, I also just HAD to design a page with saguaro cacti! I think they’re so cool, so why not make bride and groom cactus?
I used my favorite colored pencils (Tombow’s Irojiten Adult Coloring Pencils in Vivid) to color in the cactus, who say’s the pages are just for the kids? 🙂
Know someone with a wedding coming up? Please feel free to share these with them!

FREE Watercolor Floral Printables

Today I have a free printable for you guys! One of my most recent projects was designing and putting together Taylor’s bridal shower invitations!
I painted a bunch of watercolor flowers that I could scan in and use in my invitation design, and I also thought I would share them as a printable for you here as well. Feel free to use them for any personal (please don’t sell them!) projects you like. Such as using them for your own party invitations, in your art journal, or whatever.
Just save the image below-
Here are my finished invitations!
To add a bit of fanciness to them, I printed the wording using a laser printer so that I could run them through the Minc machine and have a hot pink foiled effect.
After foiling all of the words (that was a lot of foiling!!), I created a floral pattern using the watercolor designs above and printed it out.
I used Tombow’s Quick Start Permanent Adhesive Runner to put all of the layers together. It came in pretty handy, as it doesn’t have a lid you have to bother with putting on or off, just grab and roll!
I love it when tools make things easier!

Although making nearly 30 party invitations took a bit of time, these were pretty easy to do! And I am super thrilled with the finished look so that’s even better, right!

If you use these free floral designs in any projects, I would love it if you tagged me. I love to see what you make!

Since designing them this past weekend, I’ve been incorporating some of the elements into my daily Christmas cards.

That last card above, I didn’t bother cutting out the designs. I just cut the whole page down to 4″x5.25″ to fit on my card.

So, will you be using these on any Christmas cards? If you do, I’d love to see pictures! Share links below, or use the hashtag #30daysofchristmascards or #punkprojects
