If you haven’t been to Beavers Bend, it’s such a pretty park! It’s a good place for camping!
I’ve become enthralled with astrophotography. I tried it out for the first time on our last camping trip and I was excited to give it another go. My photos still need a lot of work, but I’m learning!
I can’t wait to try out astrophotography again!
What’s your favorite type of photography to take or look at?
I got a remote for my camera for Christmas and I’ve really been wanting to try doing some astrophotography (pictures of stars). Here are my very first attempts at astrophotography (and a little light painting):
The photo below is a bit more photoshopped, I added more spin just for fun.
On this last one, it’s just one photo at a 15 second exposure. Magical, isn’t it?
I love taking photos of nature and animals (people are WAY harder!). What is your favorite thing to take photos of?
I stayed with my Aunt and Uncle in Colorado earlier this month and I already shared a few photos from our trip to Sugarite Canyon State Park and today I wanted to share my photos from Garden of the Gods.
I flew home from Denver, so on my last day in Colorado we left early headed towards Denver but stopped in Colorado Springs along the way because there are so many neat things there we couldn’t just drive through.
We went to Garden of the Gods and the Manitou Springs Cliff Dwellings (I’ll share pictures of that soon!). Both were really neat but I was amazed by the Garden of the Gods! We had a lot of fun hiking around, taking photos.
If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know that I spent the first week of October traveling around!
I was staying with my Aunt and Uncle who are building an off the grid house up on a mountain in Colorado. If you’re curious about their Grid Free Life, you can follow them here.
Anyhow I was staying with them, helping them work, exploring, relaxing, etc. One day we decided to drive to Sugarite Canyon State Park in New Mexico to hike around. I didn’t have my DSLR on this trip, just my iPhone camera, but here are some of the photos I took-
Here’s a few more photos from my trip, the first is the Capulin Volcano in New Mexico, the rest from Trinidad, Colorado.
I’ll also be sharing more photos from Colorado Springs, CO very soon! We went exploring around there and it was super neat. Lots and lots of photos.
(That’s my unicycle, I rode it around the campground)
With all of this traveling I’m doing I’m taking a ton of photos, so I hope you enjoy seeing them because I love sharing them! 🙂
I’m actually headed to Arizona again (I went in August) soon. More photo opportunities!
I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing my photos- I love taking them. 🙂
