Get Messy Thursday- A Completed Art Journal

It’s the season of art over at Get Messy, So for the next few weeks I’ll be working in my art journal.

Get Messy Art Journal is an art journaling program that is a school, art playground and family. We are a group of like minded art journalers who have come together under this art form to learn, share, practice our skills and push past our creative limits with hopes to inspire. Our community values consistent creating, encouragement and suppport and trying new things. We would love to have you join us as a member of Get Messy Art Journal.

It’s the last week in the Season of Art, and this week I’ve been playing around with collage and paper! For my first page I created some found poetry using words from the Mockingjay.

My next page doesn’t have words or journaling, it’s a collage of things I found on my 2 desks.

You know I have a thing for butterflies, so I did collage some wings onto the image of this yoga lady.

And for my last page in this journal, I cut a hand out of this image of honeycombs, with some journaling about how Spring is showing up.

So that’s another season of Get Messy completed, a completed journal! This little field notes journal is full!
